Today I bump into the problem mentioned above. All other machines are working fine with the OSD TS except one machine. The computer model and specs is the same with others. Below is the error screenshot.
Browsing through the internet and I found this. It says that the BIOS date and time is varied and hence causing the error 0x80004005 while retrieving policy. After I adjusted the BIOS date and time, everything went smoothly…
How does this error happened to me??
I selected the wrong task sequence and I wanted to cancel the task sequence from running. So I force shut down the machine to stop the task sequence from running. After that I boot into WinPE again and then select the correct task sequence but the WinPE prompt me the error 0x80070570.
Resolution:
Insert the Windows CD/DVD and then format or delete the disk partition. Now, boot into WinPE and then select the correct task sequence. The task sequence should be able to run successfully.
